David Cates, age 49, resident of E. Burt Road in Columbia, passed away on February 23, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
David was born on October 26, 1961 in Maury County. He was the son of Paul Cates of Columbia and the late Della Kilburn Cates. David was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his father, David is survived by two sisters, Sandy Nix of Hohenwald, TN and Vernie Biggs of Portland, TN; and two brothers, Eddie Cates and Michael Cates both of Culleoka, TN.
No services are scheduled for David. Williams Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
