Mr. Darrell E. Falconbury, age 85, a resident of Alpine Drive in Columbia, passed away on Sunday, May 13, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Falconbury will be conducted Tuesday at 5:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Gene Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 3:00 pm to service time at the funeral home.
Born in Kings Mountain, KY, he was the son of the late Eugene and Flossie Estes Falconbury, loving husband of Margaret ?Jane? Frederick Falconbury, a father, grandfather and mentor to many. He retired as a manager of manufacturing and engineering for Buehler Corp. A WWII veteran of the Navy, he was a member of the DAV, American Legion, Englewood Masonic Lodge and Grace Church of the Nazarene, where he had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
In addition to his wife, he survived by his children, Thomas Darrell Falconbury of Summertown, James R. Falconbury of Franklin, Jeff Teana Falconbury of Columbia and Donna Walden of Indianapolis, IN; daughter-in-laws, Sharon and Jean; grandchildren, Jessica Falconbury, Jennifer Falconbury, Kristin Falconbury and Scott Falconbury, all of Columbia, Shane Harrell of Smyrna, Sammi Billy Grello of San Clemente, CA, Ricky Falconbury of Franklin, Chase Melony Walden of Cumberland, IN and Caleb Amber Walden of IN; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Applegate of Zionsville, IN.
Pallbearers will be family members. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Grace Church of the Nazarene.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 2302 Highland Ave., Columbia, TN 38401
