Darian Astoria Doner

August 17, 1996 — October 19, 2013

Darian Astoria Doner, loyal, genuine, one of a kind, 17 year old and student at Hampshire Unit School, passed away on, Saturday, October 19, 2013 surrounded by her family and friends.

Darian lived by the motto, “YOLO!” meaning, “you only live once”. She lived every moment to the fullest, often telling her mom, “YOLO”. She even believed in living in death, having been an avid and strong supporter of organ donation. Darian does indeed live on in the lives of those she donated organs to, in her death.

Darian loved her music, dancing and singing. She loved animals, especially horses, even though she was severely allergic to them. She wanted a kitten so badly, but until recently had never had one, due to those same allergies. She became a cat mommy just recently, to Binks.

Darian always worried how people felt, and she had a great sense of humor. Her zest for living extended into the outdoors, loving to go mudding and basically wanting to be involved in any activity with her brothers and her friends; they were her “world”. She loved boating on the river as well.

Darian strived to excel in everything she did; being not just a cheerleader, but a cheer captain. She was a UT Martin hopeful with a goal of being a second grade teacher and a secondary focus of special needs education. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her school, friends and family to the fullest.

Darian is survived by her parents: Diana (Russ) Prince and Kevin Doner; siblings: Daman Doner, Andrew Prince and Holly Wray; grandparents: Jimmy (Liz) Young, Amy (Hartford) Fowlkes, Carol (Kevin) Warren and Dennis Doner; step-grandparents: Bobby (Frances) Prince and Deborah Hann; great grand-parents: Doug (Dorothy) Heath; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grand-parents: GT and Pearlie Young, and Helen Helms.
