Danny Cris "Godfather" Morales, age 42, a resident of Summertown, passed away Thursday, February 11, at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services for Danny will be conducted Monday at 2:30 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born November 10, 1967 in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of Reuben Benny Morales of California and the late Pearl Flick Morales. Danny loved playing pool, singing karaoke, playing cards and in his younger years he enjoyed fishing. He loved surrounding himself with his family and friends, was a friend of many and loved by all.
Danny is survived by his brothers and sisters: Donna Glenn Hickman, Reuben Donna Morales and Becky Chris Beckum of Summertown, Tony Kristy Morales of Mt. Pleasant, Yolanda Sal Castro of California, Jessy Sylvia Morales of Mt. Pleasant and Jimmy Morales of Summertown; nephews and nieces: Christopher and Michael Townsend, Haley Hickman, Steven and Heather Dale, Destiny Morales, Jon Morales, Anthony Morales, Christian Beckum, Cody and Cory Martin, Clarissa Morales, Desirae Castro, Sal Jr. Castro, Eric Morales, Jesse and Becky Carpenter, Brianna Morales, Nicholas Morales and Jhase Scott; several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be brothers, nephews, brother-in-law and best friend: Jimmy Morales, Jessy Morales, Tony Morales, Reuben Morales, Glenn Hickman, Anthony Morales, Jon Morales, Roger Morrow and Drew. Honorary pallbearers will be all of his buddies at Doogal's Deli in Columbia, Donna Pugh, Chris Beckum, Robert Archibald of the Columbia Police Department, Augustine, Steve Leggarrea, Kendall Pugh and Paul Newcomb and all of his aunts and uncles of Texas.
