Danny C. McConnell passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mt. Pleasant on Sept. 1, 2012.
He was born on September 26, 1952 to the late Mary Ann Allen Brown in the Mt. Pleasant community. He was retired from the United States Army having served honorably in the Cold War era. His brother remembers the time they spent together in their younger years as fun times. He also remembers that they used to “get in trouble” together and he learned a lot from him.
He is survived by his brother: William Todd (Nelda) Henson; nieces: Jessica Henson, Kala Henson, Lori Southern; nephew: Jamey Southern; and great-nephew: Jayden Smith.
The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is in assisting the family with the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.williamsfh.com .
