Daniel "Danny" Luckett

Daniel (Danny) Luckett, age 61, of the Mt. Joy Community passed away Dec. 24, 2012. He was the son of Evelyn L. Luckett and the late James R. Luckett.
Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dwight Liles officiating on Dec. 27, at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at the McClain Cemetery. Visitation will be at Williams Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant from 4 – 8 PM, on Wednesday Dec. 26th.
Danny attended the Kings Daughters School and always lived at home with his parents. Danny loved life. He enjoyed family, friends, animals, going to church, sitting on the porch and all types of music. He was always happy and a blessing to many people.
Survivors in addition to his Mother include four Aunts; Maymie Hester and Jewel Liles, Mt. Pleasant, Betty Luckett, Cumming GA, Madelyn Luckett, Clarksville, TN. Others include Jamie Threet Jackson, Sister, God Parents Katherine and Willard Grimes, Seven 1st Cousins: Woody (Donna Kay) Liles, Dwight (Denise) Liles, Patricia (Ralph) Culver, Bonnie (Steve) Moore, Cindy (Greg) Smith, Anne (Tom) Connor, Jean (John) Capo, Two Wonderful Caregivers; Faye Woods and Frances Hill.
Preceded in death, other than his Father; Grandparents, Barney and Bernice McClain Luckett, Walter and Irene Adkisson Liles, Four Uncles, Haywood Liles, Harris Hester, Donald and Wade Luckett, One Aunt Janice Luckett Warner.
Pall Bearers: David Johnson, Greg Johnson, Jimmy McClain, Mickey Allen, Mike Waugh, Billy Grimes, Sidney Thomoson, and John Rainney. Honorary Pall Bearers: Woody Liles, Willard Grimes, Ralph Culver, Chris Jackson, Tom Connor, Steve Moore, Greg Smith, John Capo, Doug King, Odell Haywood, and Dr. Gibran Naddy.
