Daniel "Dan" Charles Barbarino Sr.

Daniel “Dan” Charles Barbarino Sr., age 91 a resident of Columbia, TN passed away at Signature Healthcare on Sunday December 21, 2014.
Dan was born in Export, PA on May 26, 1923 to the late Peter and Christine Barbarino. Dan was drafted when he was 21 year old just in time to participate in the invasion of Normandy. Dan served his country in World War II. He was honorably discharged from the Army with the rank of Sargent. He served for many years on the World War II Memorial Committee located in Pittsburgh, PA. After serving his country Dan worked in U.S. Steel.
A private memorial service will be held in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date.
Dan is survived by his only living son: Daniel (Luanne) Barbarino Jr. of Columbia, TN as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Signature Healthcare of Columbia for their gracious care.
