Damien Anderson Lewis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Damien Adrian Lewis on May 20, 2023, in Columbia, Tennessee. Damien was born January 20, 1983 in Rantoul, IL.

During his life Damien developed an intense love for music, playing the drums in genres such as rock, heavy metal, and country rock, and even had a band at one point.

He loved tattoos, dark humor, animals, and most of all his Momma. He was also a big fan of films by Tim Burton.

Damien will be remembered by friends and family as a devoted son whose love for music was contagious and never ending. He brought laughter and joy to all around him and will be deeply missed.

Damien is survived by his children: Leslie Renae Hill (Ashlee) and Ethan Lane Lewis; mother: Linda Moore Lewis; father: Maynard Anderson Lewis; siblings: Maynard (Cynthia) Lewis and Amberlin Love; nieces: Ainsley Hailey; nephews: Jayden Lewis; Aunts: Judy Moore Hunt, Linda Ragsdale, Melanie Olmstead (Jamie), and Denise (Jimbo) Thomas; grandmother: Margie Lewis and a host of cousins.

Damien is preceded in death by: grandfathers: Huey Moore and Dennis Lewis; and grandmother: Mary Washburn Moore; and uncle Ricky Hunt.

The family will receive friends on June 3, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 Pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.
