Cynthia “Cindy” Jimenez, a beloved mother, dedicated employee, and vibrant soul, passed away on July 12, 2023, in Columbia, Tennessee. She was born on September 5, 1958, in Olympia, Washington, to Wanda Finkbeiner and the late Stanley Wygant.
Cindy's dedication and strong work ethic were exemplified throughout her career at Home Depot. Her commitment and exceptional performance were recognized by her peers and superiors alike, earning her the title of "Employee of the Month" multiple times.
Beyond her professional achievements, Cindy had a zest for life and an unwavering enthusiasm for sports. As an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, she passionately supported her favorite team through the highs and lows. Additionally, Cindy had a talent for bowling, and she participated in a bowling league in the past for many years.
Cindy’s competitive nature extended beyond sports and spilled over into her love for games like Yahtzee and Bingo. She relished the challenge and always welcomed the opportunity to showcase her skills. Furthermore, Cindy possessed a gift for singing and often shared her melodious voice during lively karaoke sessions with friends and family, creating unforgettable memories.
While Cindy was known for her vibrant and outspoken personality, it was her loving and caring soul that touched the lives of those around her. Her unconditional love and support knew no bounds. She is survived by her son, Ramon (CJ) Jimenez, and stepsons, Rene Sanchez, Jr. Jimenez. Her nine grandchildren were a source of immense joy and pride.
Cindy also leaves behind her mother, Wanda Finkbeiner, and her siblings, Sandra (Tom) Washe, Kathryn (Don) Scott, and Misty Finkbeiner, and several nieces and nephews. She cherished her family and friends that became her Tennessee family and the special bond they shared, drawing strength from their unwavering support and love. Cindy was preceded in death by her late husband, Seberiano “Sam” Jimenez, and her stepfather, Bob Finkbeiner.
To celebrate Cindy’s remarkable life, a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM in Blevins Hall at Williams Funeral Home. Friends, family, and all those whose lives were touched by Cindy are invited to join in honoring her memory, sharing stories, and finding solace in their collective love and cherished memories.
