Cynthia Earlene “Cindy” Roman, age 56, resident of Savannah, TN, formerly of Columbia, passed away on Monday, August 27, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Cindy was born October 10, 1961 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of the late Jiles D. Crouch and Ruth Vanderburg Crouch. She was the wife of the late Clifford J. Roman. Cindy was a people person and made friends with everyone, no matter who the person was she wanted to make a friend out of them. She liked to crochet and loved her pets. Cindy enjoyed watching TV and her favorite show was Supernatural. She also liked playing online games. In her younger years, Cindy had enjoyed camping. She loved getting visits from her grandchildren and enjoyed telling stories of her past.
Survivors include her children, Jeanna (Ray) Currie-Roman of GA, Natasha (Cutberto) Salas-Roman of AL, Tiffany Roman of Columbia and Cliff Roman II of Savannah, TN; grandchildren, Abigail Roman, Vanessa Shaper, Jacob Clark, Alejandra Salas, America Salas, Luz Salas, Zamara Salas, Adalberto Salas, Richie Seagraves II, and Kole Seagraves’ sister, Patricia (William) Kingcaid and brother, Kevin Crouch, both of TX. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Family Baptist Church, 1562 Old Highway 99, Columbia, TN with David Baker officiating.
