Mr. Curtis Elmo Chambers, Jr., age 55, a resident of Mapleash Avenue in Columbia passed away on Monday, June 1, at his home.

No services are scheduled at the present time. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.

Born February 21, 1954 in Ft. Jackson, SC, Curtis was the son of Curtis Chambers, Sr. and the late Mary Shelton Chambers. He was an installer for Hobbs Heating & Air, a US Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughters: Kimberly Chambers and Jennifer Chambers, both of Columbia; granddaughter: Alicia Olive of Columbia; sisters: Roberta Wayne Jones of Hohenwald, Marilyn LesAlbritton of Mt. Pleasant, Pamela R.P. Jones of Murfreesboro, Linda James Pirtle of Colburn, VA and Beverly Jerry Flowers of Pulaski; brother: James E. Chambers of Columbia; special friend: Chuck Barnett of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a brother: James Parr and a sister: Lois Ann Tauer.
