Crystal Gail McDonald, age 29, resident of Pulaski Highway in Culleoka, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 following a sudden illness.

Funeral services for Crystal will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the chapel of the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Pastor Herb Helton officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.

The McDonald Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. -9:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.

Born December 25, 1980 in Maury County, she was the daughter of Danny and Patsy Gail Stewart McDonald of Culleoka. Crystal was a graduate of Culleoka High School where she played basketball, baseball and was a cheer leader. Crystal worked with her mother cleaning houses. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Crystal is survived by her daughter, Abby Gail McDonald of Columbia; sister, Christie Lynn Clay McKinney of Columbia; grandmother, Pearl Thornton of Hohenwald; grandfather, Paul L. Stewart of Mt. Pleasant; nieces, Emma and Kayla McKinney of Columbia; aunts and uncles, Patty and David Lynch of Winchester, Joe and Linda Epley of Dickson, Corey and Gail Bumgarner of Hohenwald, Chris and Courtney McDonald, Frank Stewart, Hank and Elaine Roberts, Jessie Stewart all of Columbia and Sheryl and Dewayne Adams of North Carolina; great-uncles and aunts, Leonard and Clara Lancaster of Theta, Sarah Williams of Santa Fe and Charlie and Viola Burt of Columbia.

Active pallbearers will be Timmy Stewart, Zeke Swindle, Clay McKinney, Anthony Stewart, Chris McDonald, Jeremy Roberts, Tyler Ridings, Todd Miller and Corey Bumgarner. Honorary pallbearers will be all the members of the Open Door Baptist Church of Columbia.
