Cosier Chandler Adair

Mrs. Cosier Chandler Adair, 96, a resident of Shenandoah Drive in Columbia, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2005 at Columbia Care and Rehabilitation.

Funeral service for Mrs. Adair will be conducted Monday, February 14, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Canale Funeral Home in Memphis, Tennessee with Reverend Bob Adair officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:00 until 1:00p.m at the Canale Funeral Home. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia will be in charge of local arrangements.

The Slaughters, Kentucky native was the daughter of the late Edmond Chandler and the late Ina Mae Oakley Chandler Chaffin. Mrs. Adair was a retired LPN in Memphis at the Baptist Hospital. She was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee.

She is survived by a daughter, Jean Ditto of Columbia, TN; a sister Thulie Danner of Warrior AL; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alma Mae Robbins and two sons, Theodore Adair, Jr. and Gerald Edwin Adair.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
