Cory Adam Klinzing, 18, formerly of Mt. Pleasant and a resident of Overton Drive in Columbia, died Monday, April 5, 2004 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services for Cory will be conducted Friday, April 9, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bishop Douglas Fry officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors being provided by the Tennessee Army National Guard of Columbia. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Waukegan, Illinois native was the son of Edward Klinzing of Wisconsin and Pam Edwards Kerce of Columbia, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and was currently serving our country in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Christopher ?Chris? Sondra Klinzing and Tony Klinzing both of Columbia, TN; a niece, Rayne Klinzing of Columbia, TN; maternal grandparents, Norman and Rhoda Edwards of Fayetteville, TN.
Pallbearers will be the honor guard of the Tennessee Army National Guard.
