Connie Marie Diehl, age 58, went peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family in Columbia, Tennessee.
Connie was born March 23, 1959 in Davison, Michigan, daughter of the late Arthur and Phyllis (Brousseau) Tessmer. She married Jerry Diehl on March 29, 1980 and was a member of New Song Baptist Church. Connie loved her family and her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She enjoyed being around children, both young and old. She always made a special connection with kids at the school, at church, or wherever she went. They were her passion in life and she was proud of each of them as she watched them grow up. She had a contagious smile and beautiful blue eyes. She taught her children how to be strong, work hard and respect your family. She made many sacrifices in life to provide for her family. She will truly be missed by many and we will always remember her favorite saying, "God’s got this."
The family will visit with friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will visit again with friends on Saturday January 20, 2018, prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at New Song Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee.
