Mrs. Connie Demetrice Stanfill Vestal, 41, a resident of McMeen Circle in Columbia, died Saturday, October 18, 2003 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vestal will be conducted Thursday, October 23, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Fox officiating. Burial will be in the Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Williamson County native was the daughter of Ruby Faulkner Stanfill of Columbia and the late Edward Stanfill. She was a graduate of Santa Fe High School and member of the faith Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and former employee of Teledyne in Lewisburg. She was formerly married to James Vestal of Columbia.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters; April Dennis Posey of the Mooresville Community, Amanda Jamie Mather and Alyssa Vestal both of Columbia, TN; a son, Patrick Vestal of Columbia, TN, two sisters, Cathy Taylor of LaVergne, TN and Vickie Stanfill of the Theta Community; a brother, Larry Denise Stanfill of Theta Community, two grandson, Trenten Posey of Mooresville Community and Jakob Mather of Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Stanfill who died in January of 2003.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Mather, Jordan Archer, Brandon Fuller, Anthony Stanfill, Ronnie Sparkman and Roger Scroggins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Stanfill, Joey Fuller, Nathan Sparkman, Dennis Posey, Eldridge Fred Stanfill, Ernest Faulkner, James Faulkner, Lennie and Raymond Boatright.
