Colleen Cranmer

Mrs. Colleen H "Connie" Cranmer, age 95, a resident of Buck Daniels Road in Culleoka, passed away Tuesday, July 23, at home after a lengthy illness. Born on March 30, 1929 in Columbus, OH, Colleen was the daughter of the late William and Lula Mae Grady.

Miss Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she was a beloved member of the Culleoka Community. Miss Connie also volunteered her time for years to assist the wonderful people who worked at the Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Richard H. "Dick" Cranmer, and her son Douglas A. Cranmer.

She is survived by her daughters Linda (Leonard) Leach and Julie Bonham (Michael Hunter), and a son Craig (Kim) Cranmer. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kennedy, the staff of Gentiva Hospice, and a special thanks to her hospice nurse Tim Brashears for his loving care and support.

The family has requested that memorials be made to the Culleoka Fire Department, PO Box 13, Culleoka, TN 38451 in memory of Mrs. Connie.

 No services for Mrs. Cranmer are scheduled at the present time. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of the arrangements.
