Mr. Clyde Dean Davis, 69, a former employee of Rogers Electric and a resident of Hobbs Drive in Columbia died Friday, November 14, 2003 at Centennial Hospital.
Graveside services for Mr. Davis will be conducted, Monday November 17, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Reverend Clifford Spence officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home.
The Hickman County native was the son of the late Lon and Ruth Baker Davis and widower of Della Davis. He was a former employee of the City of Columbia Waste Water Plant. He was an avid fisherman and attended the Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by a son, Robbie Robinn Davis of Mt. Pleasant, TN; four sisters, Mattie Brown Church, Mary Frances Nelson Stutts, Betty Jean Slaughter all of Columbia, TN and Phyllis Ann Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, TN; three brothers, Billy Ray Davis of Columbia, TN, Jimmy Lon Rachel Davis of Summertown, TN and Ronnie Lee Wanda Davis of Woodbury, TN; a granddaughter, Mary Raven Davis of Mt. Pleasant, TN; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Davis and Jerry Wayne Davis.
