Clyde Austin Carpenter

Mr. Clyde Austin Carpenter, 71, died Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at his residence on Oscar Green Road in the Primm Springs Community.

A memorial service for Mr. Carpenter will be conducted Thursday evening, February 5, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Brian Weisinger and Dee Kelley officiating.. Private family services will be held at the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Thursday following the service in the funeral home lounge.

The Union City, Indiana native was the son of the late M.O. and Frances Cooper Carpenter. Clyde and the former Carolyn Hite were residents of the Primm Springs Community. He was retired owner and operator of National Auto Detail and member of the Grace Nazarene Church in Columbia.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kay Carpenter Dee Kelley of Oklahoma City, OK; three sons, Tony Robyn Carpenter of Phillips Ranch, CA, Ken Devon Carpenter of the Primm Springs Community, and Rod Carol Carpenter of Brentwood, TN; fourteen grandchildren, Nathan Carpenter, Caylee Carpenter, and Zachary Carpenter all of California, Sutton Kelley and Savannah Kelley both of Oklahoma City, OK, Cole Carpenter, Peyton Carpenter, Logan Carpenter, Bennett Carpenter, Claire Carpenter, Davis Carpenter, and Amelia Carpenter all of the Primm Springs Community, Blaze Carpenter and Cannon Carpenter both of Brentwood, TN.

Memorials may be made to the Grace Church of the Nazarene Building Fund in memory of Mr. Clyde A. Carpenter, 2302 Highland Avenue Columbia, Tennessee 38401.
