Mr. Claudy R. Posey, 73, a resident of Cherry Street in Columbia, died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.
A memorial service for Mr. Posey will be conducted Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Oliver Pantal officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Haleyville, Alabama native was the son of the late Naldier Bennett and Ethel Terrell Posey. He was the husband of Eugenia Lovett Posey. He retired from Union Carbide and attended the Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Bennett Lee ?Pee Wee? Carol Posey; grandchildren, Dennis Ray ?Bubba? Posey, Jr. of Lewisburg, TN, Karen Elizabeth Posey of Brentwood, TN, Christopher Lee Posey of Lynnville, TN and Brandon Lee Posey of Columbia, TN.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Ray Posey.
