Claudine Woodward Mason

Mrs. Claudine "Huck" Woodward Mason, age 92, a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, February 11, at her residence.

A memorial service for Mrs. Mason will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 15, at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Phillip Wright officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Prospect Cemetery in Giles County.

Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Lawrenceburg, TN, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lillie Gilmore Woodward and the wife of the late William Cain Mason, Sr. She was a homemaker, member of the Maury Regional Hospital Auxiliary- Mitsis Club for over 40 years, a Garden Club member and a member of the Mt. Pleasant First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons: Joseph Gray Mason IV of Columbia and William Cain Cheryl Mason Jr. of Angel Fire, NM; grandchildren: Maria Mason Stuart Harvey and Cain Scott Mason; great- grandchildren: Andrew Mason Harvey and Jason Daniel Harvey; sister: Mrs. Irene Woodward Jordan of Nashville, TN; daughter-in-law: RoseMarie Mason of Atlanta, GA; a nephew, nieces and their families. She was preceded in death by her brothers: J.P. "Jack" Woodward and W.R. "Bill" Woodward and a sister: Mary Flowers Woodward.
