Claudia Payne Woody

Mrs. Claudia O. Payne Ayers Woody, 86, passed away Sunday April 3, 2005 at her residence on Trotwood Avenue in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Woody will be conducted Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Mike Dawson officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Henry and Viola Nichols Payne. She was the wife of Wallace Woody of Columbia. Mrs. Woody was first married to Bryant Millard Ayers who passed away in 1995. She was a beautician and retired from Parks Belk. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbia.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two step-sons, Larry W. Lisa Woody of Columbia, TN and David L. Shelia Woody of Culleoka, TN; four step-grandchildren, Maeghan Josh Wall, James Woody of Columbia, TN Sarah Woody and Carson Woody of Culleoka, TN; two step-great-grandchildren, Lily Wall and Brewer Wall both of Columbia, TN; one sister, Elizabeth C.B. Moore and a brother Juanita Henry Walker Payne both of Columbia, TN.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mae Delk.
Pallbearers will be Larry Woody, David Woody, Carson Woody, James Woody, Larry Delk and Lane Worley.
Memorials may be made to the Caris Healthcare, 701 West 7th Street, Columbia, TN 38401
