Mr. Claude Ray Eller, age 67, a resident of Derryberry Cemetery Road, passed away on Saturday, September 6 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Graveside services for Mr. Eller will be conducted Tuesday, September 9 at 11:00 AM at the Derryberry Cemetery in Marshall County with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19.
The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Born in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Cicero and Annie Scwantz Eller and husband of the late Irene Wala Eller. He was an owner/truck driver, US Navy veteran and a member of Highland Church of God.
Survivors include his son: Hershel Tammy Eller of Culleoka; beloved granddaughter: Meghan Eller of Culleoka; brother: Charles Eller of North Carolina; sister: Elizabeth Morris of North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law: Bill and Helen Morris of Ohio; special friends: David and Denise Ring.
