Clarence Andy Webb Jr.

Clarence Andy Webb Jr., age 81 and a resident of Parkview Drive in Columbia, TN, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Clarence was born on October 5, 1931 in Lewis County to the late Clarence Webb Sr. and the late Josie Vaughan Webb. He worked for many years as assistant plant manager of Pride Die Casting in Chicago, Illinois. After retiring, he was working maintenance at Burchell Properties. He was a hard-working “Mr. Fix-it man” and a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was always there whenever needed. He was a pitcher, “lefty” for the Mynders School and was an avid Atanta Braves fan.
Visitation for Clarence will be Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Services will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka, Tennessee.
Clarence is survived by his daughters: Cynthia “Cindy” and Steve Collins of Columbia, Donna “Lynn” Pickard and Jim Coons of Lavergne, Tennessee; Son: Gregory “Greg” and Vickie Webb of Augusta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Jennifer Collins Ethridge, Lisa and Michael Paul of Columbia, Cory Collins of Columbia, Beverly and Jim Smith of Fortine, Montana, Charles “Charlie” Collins of Huntsville, Alabama, Clare Webb and Ashby Buthane, and Charles Alexander “Alex” Webb and fiancé Mariah, Molly Hood and Leslie Odom all of Evans, Georgia, Michael and Jennifer Hood of Waynesboro, Georgia, close friend Todd Burchell, fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters: Bertha Webb Bradford, Virginia Webb McCrary; brother: Harvie Webb; and one grandson: Donnie Pickard.
Pallbearers will be Larry Webb, David Bradford, Jr. Bradford, Ray McCrary, Bill Webb, John Parham and Mark Skaggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Fitzgerald, Todd Burchell, Dick Bradley, Teresa Fitzgerald, Harold Haywood, Noah Burchell, Delon Burchell, Maddie Burchell, Shelby Burchell, Dr. Tony Ball, Mike Lewis, Shine Armstrong, Mike “Moose” Vaughn, Jeff Harris, and all past and present employees of Burchell Properties.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Rhinehart, Dr. Mark Cobb, and all the staff at Maury Regional Medical Center’s ICU 2nd Floor and 3rd Floor.
