Mr. Clarence Wayne Remer, 70, resident of Hampshire Pike in Columbia, died Thursday, May 9, 2002, in Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Funeral services and burial for Mr. Remer will be conducted at a later time in Bayfield, Wisconsin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was a native of Port Wing, Wisconsin, but had lived the last 20 years in Tennessee. He was the son of the late Clifford Remer and Mary Goulden Remer of Brule Wisconsin. He was a truck driver and retired from Osbourne Trucking of Gadsden, Ala.
Survivors in addition to his mother include one daughter, Sonya George of Columbia; seven sons; Tim Ginger Remer of Columbia, Keith Remer of Lawrenceburg, TN., Terry Sandra Remer of Sacramento, Calif., Danny Remer of Millport. Ala., Tommy Lenora Remer of Richmond, Virginia, Phillip Owings of Columbus, Miss., and Lloyd Faye Blackston of Biloxi, Miss.; four sisters, Joyce Schmidt of Finlayson, Minnesota, Patsy Gore of Lake Arthur, La., Marlene Geraci of Elgin, Ill. Beverly Jacobson of Holiday, Fla. and three brothers, Dennis Remer of Duluth, Minnesota, Fred Remer of Indianapolis, Ind. and Peter Remer of Floral City, Fla.
