Clarence Edward Eichelberger was born December 1, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the fifth child born to the union of Eddie Lee Eichelberger and Annie Ruth Jones- Eichelberger of Laurens, South Carolina.
Clarence was baptized at Russell Street Missionary Baptist Church at the very young age of eleven years old. He attended Chadsey High School in the Detroit public school system. He had a keen interest in a variety of hobbies including woodcarving and martial arts. Clarence was known for his dynamic personality, always making people laugh. Clarence was also an avid sketch-artist and collected comic books. Clarence worked numerous jobs throughout his life; he was a landscaper, forklift driver, and worked in the automobile industry.
Clarence E. Eichelberger departed this life and went into eternal rest on Tuesday, the 29th of May, 2012. Clarence was preceded in death by two siblings, two sisters, Veronica Davison, and Lisa Eichelberger, one niece, Ashley N. Eichelberger and one nephew, Terrance Phillips Jr.
Clarence leaves to cherish his loving memory: his parents, three sons, Domonique Lacy, Clarence E. Rentie, Ryan Eichelberger of Huntsville, Alabama; Four sisters, Geneva Eichelberger of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Barbara Ann Phillips Terrance of Inkster, Michigan, Yvonne Eichelberger of Laurens, SC, Latricia Washington Brian of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Eddie Lee Eichelberger, Homer Eichelberger of Detroit, Michigan and Raye Louis Eichelberger Michelle of Keller Texas; Eight grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will be held by the family.
