Clara Mae Harvey

Clara Mae Harvey, 79, of Columbia passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Life Care Center of Columbia.
Clara was born on June 10, 1937 to the late Oddie Rummage and Lula Chumley Rummage in Maury County. She was married to the late Johnny Harvey. Clara was a member of the Church of Christ. Her family describes her as a very loving and caring lady that would give you the shirt off her back. Clara also loved the outdoors, flowers, plants, and birds. She loved her family dearly and loved watching the children play. Her one pleasure was to spend eight hours or more in Walmart and not buy a single thing!
Clara is survived by her Brother, Elmer “Bud” Rummage; Son, James (Sandra) Harvey of Columbia; Daughter, Brenda Pagel of Columbia; Nephew, Eddie (Serita) Harvey of Columbia; Grandchildren, Rhea (Steve) Asley, Johnathan (Charlene) Harvey, Wayne Pagel III, Matthew Harvey, and Alyssa Harvey ; and 8 Great Grandchildren; Loving Caregiver and friend, Sherry Russell; Lovingly adopted Grandchildren, Kassie and Autumn Russell; Loving Friend, William Moore; Loving Nephew, Ray Rummage; Loving Niece, Linda Dodson; 9 Sisters in Law; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by Sisters, Mary Gilliam, Ann Worley, Virginia Potts, and Thelma Barnes; Brothers, Roy Rummage and Melvin Rummage; 3 Brothers in Law and 3 Sisters in Law.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with John Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Clara’s family will visit with friends on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Williams Funeral Home and on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 11:00Am until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ray Rummage, Matthew Harvey, Johnathan Harvey, Eddie Harvey, Lee Rummage, Gene Rummage, and Tim Thurman. The past employees of Harvey’s Mobil Home Service will serve as honorary pallbearers.
