Mr. Christopher Reid Chaney, 37, a resident of Campbellsville Pike in Lynnville, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at his home.
Funeral services for Mr. Chaney will be conducted Friday, December 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend Bruce Peltier officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Muskogee, OK, he was the son of Ben Chaney and Delores ?Dee? Reid Coffman. He was an auto repair tech for Crown Mitsubishi in St. Petersburg, FL. He attended New Song Baptist Church. He was a Native American a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation in Okmulgee, OK.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Gina Robert Jandreau of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Kevin Tunisia Chaney of Summertown; grand parents, Lowell and Jennie Reid of Muskogee, OK; step father, Harold Wayne Coffman of Lynnville; step mother, Louise Chaney of Oklahoma; nephews, Justin and Mason Jandreau of Mt. Pleasant and Dakota Chaney of Summertown; niece, Ashten Jandreau of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Edgar and Dora Chaney.
Pallbearers will be Ben Chaney, Kevin Chaney, Dakota Chaney, Robert Jandreau, Justin Jandreau, Mason Jandreau and Wayne Coffman.
