Christina "Christy" Suzanne Falbo

Christina “Christy” Suzanne Falbo, age 45, of Columbia, passed away on June 20, 2015.

Christy was born on September 26, 1969 in Charleston, West Virginia to R. B. “Sonny” Talbert, II and Margaret Greer Talbert. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Art in Social Work. On December 31, 1991 she was wed to Francis Joseph Falbo, III to whom she was a devoted wife. She was also a loving and devoted homemaker, mother and friend. Above all her hobbies and loves in her life, her family was always first.

She enjoyed spending time with her family. Traveling was a special love of hers, one of her favorite trips being to Maine in 1999. She was an avid animal lover, rescuing and taking care of them and sending them to new homes. Christy also enjoyed watching TV and talking. She was a devoted Mountaineers fan and had a surprising wit about her.

Christy is survived by her beloved husband: Francis “Frank” Falbo, III of Columbia; children: Chelsea Elizabeth (Drew) Bumpus, Dominick Joseph Falbo and Chloe Anne Falbo; mother: Margaret Talbert of Summersville, WV; siblings: Jeremy, Nat and Mandy Talbert of Summersville, WV. She was preceded in death by her father: R. B. (Sonny) Talbert, II; aunt: Susie Talbert of Summersville, WV; grandparents: R. B. and Norma Talbert of Summersville, WV and Dale and Janet Greer of Phoenix, AZ.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Christy’s life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Christy’s name to the Maury County Animal Shelter at 1233 Mapleash Ave, Columbia, TN 38401.
