Christian Neal Norman, 6 month old son of Joey Neal Norman and Holly Dyan Crosby Norman, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, April 7, at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services for Christian will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Mike Roberts and Father Mark Beckman officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Christian was born on October 2, 2007, in Nashville, TN. In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers and sisters: Chase and Collyn Foshee and Caleigh and Chelsey Norman, all of Mt. Pleasant; maternal grandparents: Darrell and Diana Norman of Mt. Pleasant; paternal grandparents: Dale and Beverly Norman of Columbia; maternal great-grandfather and step-grandmother: Lester and Joyce Beckman of Lawrenceburg; paternal great-grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hemphill and Carolyn Hemphill of Columbia; paternal great-grandfather: Robert Norman of Columbia; aunts and uncles: Wyntar Scotty Haywood, Brenda Brandon Boles and Jerry Norman, all of Columbia; special friends: Heather Davis, Rene King, Karey Coleman, all of Davidson Co.
He was preceded in death by sisters: Clara and Catherine Norman and great-grandmothers: Jewell Dean Trice and Margrette Helen Norman.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Haywood and Jerry Norman; honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Vanderbilt Children's Hospital NICU, members of the Columbia Fire Department and the Columbia Fire Department Honor Guard.
