Cheryl Jean Jones of Nashville passed away to heaven on February 24, 2009. She had 62 years of life filled with family and friends who will always remember her sense of humor, her passion for her family, and her special way for making everyone around her feel loved and accepted. She had an open home, an open table, a big heart, and a willingness to help anyone who crossed her path.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jo Harris, her Grandmother, Clara Hardy, and her beloved nephew, Nathan Lee Wantland Harris.
Cheryl will always be loved and sadly missed by the family and friends she leaves behind. She is survived by her fiancé, Larry Crosby of Nashville; her son, Tim Jones, Lori and daughter, Tamyra Jones; her brothers Jerry Jerald Brown Debbie of Lewisburg and Steve Harris Debbie W. of Columbia; her sister Pam Dugger Tom of Franklin; grandchildren Gavin Flatt Coley and Zac Jones; and great-granddaughters Candace and Carleigh Flatt.
Cheryl was adored by her nieces and nephews Lindsay, Ashley, and Kyle Dugger; and Carrie Eric and Reese Michael, and Jesse Brown. She also leaves one aunt, Marilyn Palmore, of Lawrenceburg and many cousins.
Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from Noon to 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Services will be on Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Williams chapel with burial to follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jonathan and Mike Weathers, Jeffrey and Greg Taylor, Gene Fields, Josh Palmore, Mark and Eric Skillern, and Stacy Hardy. Honorary pallbearers and special friends include Brenda, Jimmy, and Scott Springer and Shannon Heard; Glenda, Larry, Kelly, Kim, and Marcie Golden; Joyce Story; Patty McGuire; Donna Lynn and Donnie McClain; and Shirley Luffman.
