Charlotte Ann Davidson, age 3 of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on Tuesday, December 1, 2015.
Charlotte was born February 16, 2012 to Eric and Ashley Davidson of Columbia, TN. Charlotte came into this world as an angel with a special gift. She touched many lives with her story. She developed Leigh’s syndrome at 6 months of age. Leigh’s syndrome is a mitochondrial disorder that has a devastating effect on a person’s life. Charlotte was confined to a wheelchair for most of her life in a broken body. Now her body is healed and she is free to run, giggle, play, sing, and live the heavenly life that she was not able to on Earth.
Charlotte Ann loved when her parents would snuggle her and sing to her. She delighted in dressing in beautiful clothes. She adored bright colors. She enjoyed having her mommy and daddy read books to her. She loved listening to music so much that she would hum back melodies to her parents. Watching her two kitty cats and Disney programs also brought her happiness. Most of all, she loved falling asleep in her mother’s arms.
The family invites friends to visit from 11:30 am -1:30 pm, Sunday, December 6, 2015. After visitation, family and friends will celebrate her life at 1:30 pm in the chapel at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN with Bro. Bob Vassar and Robert Barger officiating. Burial will follow in the Arbors at Polk Memorial Gardens.
In addition to her parents, Charles Eric and Ashley Davidson, Charlotte is survived by her paternal great-grandparents (Austin and Syllal Edgar), her maternal grandparents (Alex Dwight and Benita Burcham), her paternal grandfather (Danny Davidson), and several aunts and uncles, John and Emily Culley (Elizabeth, Wesley, and Jackson), Robert and Julie Barger (Wyatt, Ava, and Mason), Justin and Caroline Kropf (Harrison and Andrew), and Chad and Amy Bennington (Chase and Avery). She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Donna E. Davidson.
Flowers will be cherished and/or a donation in Charlotte’s memory would be appreciated. An account will be set up in Charlotte’s honor in the near future. Please contact Williams Funeral Home for details if you wish to donate.
