Charles Franklin Francis

Mr. Charles Franklin Francis, age 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehab in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.

Mr. Francis was born on April 26,1950 in Pulaski, Tennessee to the late Franklin Whitfield Francis and the late Eulla Parker Francis. He was married to Linda Francis for 44 years and had two children and several grandchildren whom he loved very much. Charles enjoyed watching wrestling and Tennessee football and also “settin on the porch”.

Mr. Francis is survived by his wife: Linda Francis; children: Jimmy (Kristie) Francis and Jennifer (Evan) Chatman; grandchildren: Johnathon “Bubba” Francis, Joshua “Booboo” (Jessica) Francis, Austin Francis, Leo Cole, III, Breanna Chatman, Matthew Cox, Ashley Cox, Tyler Craig and Rylee Chatman; great-grandson: J. J. Mowery; siblings: Mary Ellen (Tommy) Boyd, Donald (Pat) Francis, Arnold (Sharon) Francis, Anthony (Cindy) Francis, Teresa (Jerry) Colvett, Parker (Wanda) Francis and Angela (Mike) Thompson; sister-in-law: Martha Luttrell. In addition to his mother and father, Charles was preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Gladys Lemay; father-in-law: Johnny Luttrell; and brother-in-law: Jodie Luttrell.

Funeral services for Charles Francis will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant and will be officiated by Johnny Higgason. Burial will follow in Spencer Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be: Johnathon “Bubba” Francis, Joshua “Booboo” Francis, Austin Francis, Leo Cole, III, Matthew Cox and Ricky Davis. Dwight Walls, Keith Walls, Jonathon Francis, Jason Francis, Cody Francis, Gerry Colvett, Rodney Sanders, Daniel Thompson, and James Odom and his former co-workers at Armour Environmental will serve as honorary pallbearers.
