Charles “Chip” “Charlie Brown” Allyn Francis, the smiling, happy, and precious infant son of Jessica and Joshua Francis, passed away suddenly into the hands of Jesus on Monday, December 23, 2019 at their home in Mt. Pleasant.
He entered this world with a healthy scream on October 7, 2019, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. Chip loved to keep his parents awake all night as he laughed, smiled at them, and wanted to be held. Charlie Brown had the longest eyelashes and loved being fed.
His family will gather to share memories of his life on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Cynthia McGowan and Rev. Angy Trimmer officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Jessica Workman Francis and Joshua Francis of Mt. Pleasant; siblings, JJ Mowery and Jeorgia Francis; maternal grandparents, Stephanie Workman and Michael Workman; paternal grandparents, Jayne (Jason) Overstreet and Jimmy (Kristie) Francis; great grandparents, Jeannie Tice and Neita Workman aunt, Brittany Workman, Ashley Cox, and Taittumn Runions; uncles, Jonathan Francis, Jarred (Tabetha) Francis, and Matt Cox; great uncles, Cainon (Candance) Workman and TJ (Brittany) Tice; cousins, Kaybree Workman, Cameron Baker, Carson Baker, Khloe Baker; great aunts, Melba Jacobs, Melinda (Barry) Hodge, Arlene Guthrie and Jennifer (Evan) Chatman.
Chip was greeted in heaven by his uncle, Charles “Chucky” Tyler Clark; paternal great grandparents, Charles and Linda Francis; maternal great grandfather, Monroe Workman; and a special cousin, Leo Cole.
