Mr. Chandrakant V. Shah, age 84 of Vyara, Gujarat, India, and a resident of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2006, at NHC/Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services for Mr. Shah will be conducted Friday, September 8, 2006 at 4:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation with the family will begin at 3:00 pm Friday.
He was the son of the late Vajabhai and Jivkorben Shah and the husband of Padmaben Desai Shah. He was a retired pharmacist and a farmer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Uma Majmudar of Little Rock, AK, Dr. Jayraj Shah, MD of Lawrenceburg, Sandhya Sheth of Memphis and Akshay Shah of Memphis; grandchildren, Jigen, Rohan, Prachi, Disha, Ankita, Jatin, Niti, Nidhi, Kushal and Amit; a nephew, Dr. Amit Choksi of Columbia; several cousins in India. He was preceded in death by a son, Raju Shah and a brother.
