Cecil Bryan Scott

Mr. Cecil Bryan Scott, 77, a resident of the Sandy Hook Community went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Scott will be conducted Sunday, at 2:00 p.m. January 22, 2006 at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in the Sheboss Cemetery. Visitation with friends will be Saturday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Maury County, he was the son of the late, Porter Bryan and Nina Dunn Scott and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mr. Scott was a longtime farmer in the Hampshire Community and was employed by Columbia Mill and Elevator and Tennessee Knitting Mill in Columbia. He was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews and his hobbies were hunting and fishing
Survivors include one sister, Grace Farris of Columbia; one brother, Miles Mary Scott of Mt. Pleasant; nieces and nephews, Sue Ann Wayne Stephens and Joseph Julie Scott both of Atlanta, GA, Derrick Sara Scott of Charleston, S.C., Walter C. Donna Farris of Hampshire, Linda Farris of Columbia, Jane Rick Alexander of Hampshire, Peggy Tim Victory of Centerville, Kay Steve Renfro of Mt. Pleasant, Donna Billy Sexton of Mt. Pleasant and Andy Tana Scott of Mt. Pleasant; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Frances Scott and two brothers, Floyd Scott and Jimmy Scott.
Pallbearers will be Mike Fautt, Jeff Fautt, Andy Scott, Steve Renfro, Scott Renfro, Billy Sexton and Daniel Sexton.
