C.D. Hopkins, Jr.

Mr. Case Dickson Hopkins, Jr. was born on July 25, 1928 in Maury County. He was the son of the late C.D. Hopkins, Sr. and Josephine Hamm Hopkins. He was the husband of the late Alberta Wilkins Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins was 82 years old and was a resident of 6th Avenue in Columbia. He attended the University of Missouri and the University of the South in Sewanee. He was retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Columbia. Mr. Hopkins passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Maury Regional Hopsital.

Mr. Hopkins is survived by his son, Case Dickson Kathleen Hopkins, III of Atlanta; two grandsons, Matthew Case Hopkins and Spencer Joseph Hopkins both of Atlanta; a sister, Kathryn Van, Sr. Renick of Rocky Mountain, VA; a nephew, Van T. Renick, Jr. of Roanoke, VA; and a niece, Raleigh Larry Weckbaugh of Dunkirk, MD.

Graveside services for Mr. Hopkins will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Arlington Cemetery. The Hopkins family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Williams Funeral Home of Columbia.
