Catherine T. Walsh, age 88 of Carson City, passed away on May 21, 2015. She was born September 28, 1926 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late John and Catherine Doughtery Walsh.
Catherine worked forty years as nurse starting in West Virginia and retired from the Los Angeles County Hospital System.
Catherine is survived by her sister-in-law, Edwina Walsh; nieces, Patricia Reimer, Cathy Walsh, Rose Walsh, Edwina Romero, Cecelia Walsh; nephews, Edward J. Hannick, John J. Walsh III, Tim Walsh, Mark Walsh, James K. Szeredy; many great nieces and nephews; and her special friend Rudy.
She is preceded in death by her sister Ann M. Hannick, brother John J. Walsh, Jr., brother-in-law Edward H. Hannick, niece Ann Marie Szeredy.
A memorial service will be held at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
