Alongside her two brothers, Davis Johnston and Samuel Johnston, Carrie developed an enduring love for the natural world that surrounded her, fostering in her a profound gratitude for the wonders of God's handiwork.
Carrie pursued education with determination, ultimately earning an associates degree—a testament to her commitment to personal growth and learning. In the course of her life, she found and married the love of her life, Charles L. Seale. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising three children: Karen (Lester) Meehleder, Leland (Julie) Seale, and Jimmy Seale.
Carrie was an active and vibrant soul, her mind kept sharp by the challenge of puzzle books and the joy of reading—all while savoring a cup of coffee, her constant companion. Her creative spirit found expression in the intricate art of crochet, where she became a gifted enthusiast, crafting pieces of beauty that will be treasured by her family for generations to come.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her children: Karen, Leland, and Jimmy; grandchildren: Jonathon Seale and Matthew (Erica) Meehleder; and great-grandchildren: Jonathon Seale, Brynleigh Seale, Van Meehleder, and Coen Meehleder. Carrie is reunited in eternity with her beloved husband, Charles L. Seale, and her brothers, Davis and Samuel Johnston.
