Ms. Carolyn South, age 63, a resident of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.
A memorial service for Ms. South will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 11 at the Trinty Family Church on Leah Dr. with Butch Martin officiating.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of the arrangements.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Opal Leon South and Margaret Garner South McGee. She worked as a private duty sitter and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her children: Victoria Lynn Leonard of Lewisburg, Richard Shelton Leonard of Lebanon and Michael Ray Watson of Santa Fe; two sisters: Marilyn Jack LaCroix of Culleoka and Glenda Ronnie Lunn of Lynnville; grandchildren: Claudia Carter, Ashley Leonard and Stacy Watson, all of Lewisburg; special aunt: Ann Church. She was preceded in death by one brother: Michael Stephen South.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, 1818 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
