Carolyn Smith Sisk, age 71, resident of Iris Drive in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Ms. Sisk will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Jack Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born on December 9, 1938 in Maury County, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Sam Hughes Smith and Louise Holt Smith. She was a former owner and operator of Butch's Market in Mt. Pleasant and former employee of J & W Glass. Carolyn loved her role in helping raise her grandchildren. She was an avid UT football and basketball fan. Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors include her children Jeff Tammie Sisk of Mt. Pleasant and Debbie Tim Vincent of Franklin; grandchildren: Daryn Jason Cobb of Milan, TN, Zachary Sisk of Ft. Lee, VA, Meagan Vincent and Madelyn Vincent, both of Franklin; brothers and sisters: Dot Hines of Columbia, Catherine Frank McBride of Columbia, Billy Pat Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Wayne Smith of Panama City, FL, Shirley Smith of Mt. Pleasant, and Martha Randy Jackson of Columbia. She was preceded in death by one brother: J.L. "Chicken" Smith.

Pallbearers will be PFC Zach Sisk, SFC Jason Cobb, Sam Hinson, Dr. Tony Smith, Tim Smith, Mark Hines, Scott Jackson and Brian Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be W.C. & Geraldine Johnson, John Davis, Jr., Bob Hull, and members of First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
