Carolyn Roberts Cartret

Mrs. Carolyn Roberts Cartret, age 67, a resident of Rainbow Circle in Columbia, passed away Sunday, August 8 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born June 25, 1943 in Orrie County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ruby Lanier Roberts and the wife of Garland Cartret. She was a very special housewife who loved sewing, shopping and most of all her grandchildren. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Donna Tom Wylie of Columbia and Karisa Walton of Franklin; her son: Jay Jessica Cartret of Columbia; her sisters: Janice Cook of St. Paul, NC and Gloria Dorris Hodge of Loris, SC; her grandchildren: Mitchel Wayne Kristina Wylie, Sammy Jo Ryan Buchner, Sara Ellen Nerberto Chapman of Columbia, Deanna Lynn Walton of Franklin, Brianna Himes of Culleoka and Hailee Marie Walton of Franklin. She was preceded in death by a son: Gregory James Cartret and brothers: Lanier Roberts and Grant Roberts.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cartret will be conducted Saturday, August 14 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Thrasher and Rick Points officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Pallbearers will be Tom Wylie, Mitchel Wylie, Jay Cartret, Nerberto Occaiso, Brian Hughes and Jake Hughes.
