Carolyn Meredith Burk

Carolyn Meredith Burk, age 58, a native of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 at her home.

Carolyn was born on September 27, 1956 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Bobby L. Meredith and Mary Katherine Calvert. Carolyn was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and best friend. She always had jokes for every occasion. She was a very caring and giving person, so much so she would go without to provide for others. Carolyn was a true artist; she could create a masterpiece from anything – from crayons and pastels to paints – she could use it all.

The family will visit with friends on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters Tiffany Burk and Meredith Burk, both of Columbia; granddaughters August Burk, Serenity Burk, and Khloe Abreu; grandsons Nathan Burk, Trilon Burk, and Dujuan Butler Jr.; siblings Marilyn (Wayne) Thomason, Donna Meredith, Terry Meredith, Bobby Lee (Marcia) Meredith Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by Linda Kay Meredith Sanders and Perry Meredith.

Carolyn’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
