Carolyn Martin Holloway

Mrs. Carolyn Martin Holloway, 70, a resident of South Main Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, September 17, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Holloway will be conducted Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend Dale Combs, Reverend Jim Ledbetter and David Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Summertown Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late, Ernest Cecil and Ira England Martin and the widow of Reverend Billy G. Holloway who died May 23, 2004. Mrs. Holloway was a loving mother, grandmother and great -grandmother. She was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Sheila Jerry Wayne Baker of Athens, AL, Debbie Kenny Staples of Newport News, Virginia , Teresa Kittrell of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Billy Ricky Patricia Holloway of Summertown, TN; a sister, Faye Claude Brawner of Mt. Pleasant, TN; brother, David C. Marcia Martin of Nashville, TN and a sister, Peggy Keith Clodfelter of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Angela Jones of Atlanta, GA, Laura Baker of Josuha, TX, Danielle Steve Sanmiguel of the United States Air Force in N.M., Chelsea Staples of New Port, Virginia, Krista Kittrell and Will Kittrell both of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Tyler Holloway of Summertown, TN and Corey Beckum of Summertown, TN; five great-grandchildren, Tiffanie Jones, Samantha Jones, Chase Jones, Alex Jones and Bethanie Press; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Staples, Hunter Kittrell, Mark Mayes, Arnold Grooms, Jerry Baker, Mark Williams, Robbie Frazier, Ken Smith and Bill Cade.

Honorary pallbearers will be Will Kittrell, Tyler Holloway, Corey Beckum and Danielle Sanmiguel.
