Mrs. Carolyn E. Davis Lovell Williams, 67, a resident of Iris Drive in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, March 20, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Jeff Waldrop and Olan Bassham officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Herman and Maggie Evelyn Hicks Davis and wife of the late Billy Wayne Lovell. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Sandy Hook Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, David Gloria Lovell of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Billy Wayne Lovell, III and fiancée, Mandi Dickson of Lawrenceburg, Karen Elizabeth Lovell and fiancée, Jason Kelley of Knoxville, Whitney Carolyn Louise Lovell of Lawrenceburg, David Ryan Lovell of Mt. Pleasant and Beth Workman of Nashville; beloved daughter-in-law, Glenda Lovell Butler, of Lawrenceburg; great grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Kelley and Emily Cheyenne Kelley, both of Knoxville, Preston Matthew Lovell and Billy Wayne Lovell, IV, both of Lawrenceburg; brothers, Douglas Charlotte Davis of Mt. Pleasant and James W. Beulah Hicks of Tampa, FL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Wayne Lovell, Jr., a sister, Mary Evelyn Kelley and a brother, Ray Davis.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Workman, Terry Kelley, Patrick Kelley, Mike Davis, Travis Davis, Kevin Davis and Timmy Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Attkisson, Earl Cooper, Josh Kelley, Lee Davis, Lloyd Dugger, Steve Dulworth, Adam Dulworth, James Taylor, Jason Kelley, Jerry Roberts, Naylan Roberts, Tommy Anderson, Paul Crews, Jim Spears and the men of Sandy Hook Church of Christ.
