Carolyn Faye Eastep, age 83, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 29, 2022 at home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Carolyn was born November 14, 1938 in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee to the late Roy Dugger and Audrey Matthews Dugger.
Carolyn was a woman with strong family values. She was the matriarch of her family and she worked throughout her life caring for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She had a deft hand and crafted many quilts for family and friends. She truly cared about those around her, her favorite things to do always involved quality time. Whether that was taking trips to the mountains or going out and shopping and grabbing a bite with her nieces. She loved her church family at Central Church of Christ and was a dedicated member of their congregation and enjoyed visiting her friends over at Beech Hill Church of Christ. Carolyn is loved and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Carolyn is survived by her children: Randy (Tammy) Eastep, Stanley (Pat) Eastep, Barry (Melanie) Eastep; grandchildren: Melissa Myers, Aaron (Tiffany) Eastep, Lauren (Taylor) Eastep, Dewayne “Bubba” (Morgan) Eastep, Haley Eastep, Jacob (Jennifer) Eastep, Justin Eastep, Adrianna Eastep, Josh (Ana) Dugger, Brandon (Lauren) Eastep – whom she helped raise; 19 great grandchildren; 3 favorite nieces: Janice MacGeen, Barbara Lindsey, and Patricia Grooms. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband: Wayne Eastep; son: Kenny Eastep; siblings: Betty Eastep, Marie Calvert, Bertie Mae Clark, Dorothy Henson, Catherine Pruitt, GB Dugger, Jessie Grooms, and Raymond “Spud” Dugger.
The family will visit with friends Monday, October 31, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, TN. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, TN with burial to follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be: Jacob Eastep, Justin Eastep, Aaron Eastep, Bubba Eastep, Gavin Myers, JJ Myers, Nathan Harris, and Oakley Eastep.
