Carolyn Henson Chatman

Carolyn Henson Chatman, age 71 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday October 4, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.

Mrs. Chatman was born October 27, 1940 to the late Octavia and Raymond J. Henson. Carolyn was a member of The Rock Church in Columbia, TN.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father: Raymond J. Henson, mother: Octavia Crews, and brother: Jimmy Henson.

Survivors include her husband James “Whitey” Chatman of Mt. Pleasant, son: Ricky (Nene) Chatman of Mt. Pleasant, daughter: Sherry (Curtis) Johnson of Columbia, son: Evan (Jennifer) Chatman of Mt. Pleasant, sister: Ruth McKennon of Mt. Pleasant, sister: Joann Thomason of Columbia, brother: Leon Henson of Mt. Pleasant, brother: Larry Henson of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren: Elisha Thompson, Rick Chatman, Jennifer Pruitt, Michael Pruitt, Leo Cole, Breanna Chatman, Tyler Craig, and Rylee Chatman. Several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Pallbearers for the service include Michael Pruitt, Rick Chatman, Leo Cole, Brenten Shepherd, Mike Thompson, Dewayne Chatman

Honorary Pallbearers for the service will include Jerry Thomason, Zach Shepherd, Nathan Shepherd, Jimmy Woodard, Donald Estes, and Michael Estes

Visitation for Mrs. Chatman will be Saturday October 6, 2012 from 4-8 PM and Sunday 12-2 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Service will follow the visitation Sunday starting at 2 PM. Internment will follow the service at Ebenezer Cemetery
