Caroline Burgeson

Mrs. Caroline P. "Cissy" Burgeson, age 70, a resident of Nashville and former resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, February 4, at her family home in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral service for Mrs. Burgeson will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Marshall-Donnelly & Combs Funeral Home in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant is in charge of local arrangements.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late J.L. and Carolyn P. Williams Pickard and the wife of Robert C. Burgeson. She and her husband operated their own business in Nashville for over 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Robert C. Burgeson, Jr. and James M. Burgeson; grandson, Ryan C. Burgeson; uncle, Dr. Charles Petty. She was preceded in death by sons, John E. Burgeson and William L. Burgeson.
