Mrs. Carol Ann Roe Worthman, 52, a resident of Yokley Road in Lynnville, passed away Monday, August 21, 2006, at her home.
A celebration of life service for Mrs. Worthman will be conducted Friday, August 25, 2006 at 7:00 pm at the Lynnville United Methodist Church with Reverend Steve Van Hooser officiating. A visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Columbia and 3:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Lynnville. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
The Giles County native was the daughter of Charity Jackson Roe and the late John Edward Roe and the wife of Dr. John Worthman. She held a Bachelors Degree from UT Memphis, worked as an RN at Williamson County Hospital, also Biotherapeutic Institute in Franklin and a sales rep for Bristol-Myers. She loved farming, was a hospital volunteer and started the Mary Jones Foundation and Carol?s Fund at the Lynnville United Methodist Church, where she was a member.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived a son, John Landon Clark of Franklin; a daughter, Annie Lynn Worthman of Geneva, FL; two sisters, Jackie Howard Lamm of Florence, AL and Jenny Rex Hobbs of Pulaski.
