Carlene Fitzgerald

Carlene Fitzgerald, age 83, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Carlene was born on November 30, 1939, in Maury County, Tennessee to George Nick and Cora Workman Hodge.
Carlene was a woman who loved and was loved deeply. She loved her family and spent as much time with them as she could. She was a social butterfly and loved visiting her friends and family when she could. She had a nickname for everyone she encountered. She also loved her flowers, especially roses. Carlene was also a prankster. She thoroughly enjoyed pulling all sorts of stunts and pranks. Carlene was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Carlene is survived by her dedicated husband: William C. Fitzgerald; brother: Glenn Hodge; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Asbury, Larry Davis, Mark Hodge, James Sullivan, Glenn Hodge, Jr., Tyler Hodge, and H.E. Nelson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her loving nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee on Thursday, December 29, 2022. A service for Carlene will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, at 11:00 AM with Dickey Lindsey officiating. Carlene will be laid to rest at Blowing Springs Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.
